Customer Reviews: Very Powerful ! September 2, 2010 Bob Mckelvy (Rockport, TX USA) I have owned several Troy Bilt tillers over the years. All of them have been good. I needed a larger one to tackle my 2 acre garden. Even though the Pony did well.
Big Red made short work of it. Now only use the Pony for touch up. Strongly recommend buying the hiller/furrower attachment because it will save you a lot of work.
Also bought the dozer blade attachment. It was a luxury I could have skipped. It's excellent for moving snow off of your sidewalk and driveways. It also did a pretty good job of moving large brush piles. Piles of sand bogged it down.
The cage around the engine is an engine saver especially if you hit a rock while tilling your garden next to a fence. Even used it to dig trenches for waterlines with the hiller attachment, small ditches around trees, and tow large logs to a brush pile. It also did a great job of cutting through the larger tree roots that I hit while tilling new areas.
I am very happy with this Tiller and constantly amazed by it's power. Only Con. It's very heavy. You will have to muscle it to turn around between rows. This machine should only be used by people with large gardens only.
